Amerisur Resources is an oil and gas explorer and developer focused in onshore South America, primarily Colombia and Paraguay. A new management team was appointed during the course of 2007 focused on delivering value to shareholders and taking Amerisur towards production. This will be through accessing near to mid term prospects in Colombia, where production testing is underway, and the Company is currently conducting an exciting programme of data interpretation and acquisition in Paraguay. Specifically Amerisur Resources has interests in the following prospects: Colombia •  Platanillo - Operator and 25% working interest (Ecopetrol 40%, Repsol YPF 35%) •  Fénix - 100% working interest (acquired remaining interest in December 2007) Paraguay •  San Pedro Block •  Curupayty Block The Company will continue to review further prospects that offer new, near term opportunities.
